Introduction

At NDOE, you will have the opportunity to explore a broad range of subjects. At one end of the spectrum are disciplines often considered part of the arts, such as sociology, while at the other are fields like computer technology. Some programs have a direct vocational or professional focus, such as education or cultural business. Regardless of the subject, all programs provide valuable intellectual training and diverse perspectives on the field of education.

Our degree programs offer flexibility, allowing students to combine studies in multiple disciplines—either through joint honors or by selecting a major and a minor. Most programs also require or allow students to take at least one ‘outside’ course (i.e., from a different discipline within the School) to promote a more inclusive and holistic academic experience.

While some degrees may provide exemptions from certain professional examinations, our primary goal is to offer a strong intellectual foundation rather than just vocational training. We believe that success in both your studies and future career is best achieved by choosing subjects that genuinely interest you and align with your strengths.
